Refund & Return Policy
At Orient Cha, your satisfaction is our top priority. Please read our policy carefully to understand our procedures and requirements for returns and refunds.
1. Return Period & Inspection
If you need to return an item, you must request a return within 14 days of delivery. Please inspect your order upon receipt. If items are defective, damaged, or incorrect, contact us immediately so we can evaluate the issue and resolve it promptly.
2. Eligibility for Returns
To be eligible for a return, items must be unopened, unused, and in their original packaging and condition.
Health & Safety Note: For the health and safety of all our customers, we strictly do not accept returns for any tea products that have been opened or used. Once the original seal is broken, the product is no longer eligible for return or refund.
3. Shipping Costs & Fees
Unless the return is due to an error by Orient Cha (e.g., wrong item sent):
- The buyer is responsible for all return shipping costs to our facility in Guangdong, China.
- Original outbound shipping fees are non-refundable.
- Refunds will be issued minus the round-trip shipping costs and a 30% restocking fee.
4. Important Notes & Exceptions
- Personal Preference: Returns based on personal taste or preference are not accepted. We highly recommend purchasing a small trial quantity before placing bulk orders.
- Product Characteristics: Minor tea breakage or "tea dust" during transit is normal and unavoidable. For aged tea products, packaging may show natural signs of aging; please purchase cautiously if this is a concern.
- Non-Returnable: We do not accept returns for any opened food/beverage items under any circumstances due to hygiene regulations.
5. Refund Process
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return. If the refund is approved, it will be automatically processed through your original payment method within 10 business days.
Note: It may take additional time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund to your account.
Delayed Refunds: If more than 15 business days have passed since your return was approved and you haven't received your refund, please contact us at support@orientcha.com.
